BACORP Building Group is a residential and commercial design and build firm located on the New Jersey Shore. Family
owned and operated, we have been building energy efficient homes and commercial structures for more than
30 years
We have tailored our design and build practices to deal specifically with the harsh weather conditions associated
with our demanding coastal environment. For many years we were the only builders in the area to be partnered with
the DOE/EPA in the National
Energy Star Program for residential construction. Our commercial projects are also built
to the same standards for energy and resource efficiency. Our work is of such high quality that our
past clients are
amazed with the energy efficiency of their projects and the money that they have saved. Frankly, we owe it to our
clients to design and build them a structure that far exceeds the requirements of local and national Building Codes.
Form Follows Function
A comprehensive and integrated approach is taken when combining our high performance structures and the existing
systems of the natural environment. We believe that occupant comfort, the energy efficiency of our structures and
maintaining the integrity of the natural environment are inextricably related and must be considered so from
inception of design to on site construction. Environmental stewardship has long been the guiding principle of our
firm, long before Green Building was fashionable. Our entire staff has earned the designation of
Certified Green
Professional (CGP), and we are accredited by the NAHB Research Center as
Green Verifiers. We are
also members of the
United States Green Building Council and are capable of qualifying our projects to any level of
LEED certification.
We are the original owners and developers of the
Channels Point River front subdivision, the
Lakeview subdivision
and the
Lacey Township Business Park We built and installed all of the roads, underground utilities and bulk heading as applicable.
Consequently, we are intimately familiar with the unusual ground conditions associated with waterfront construction and
consider ourselves to be experts. We have developed and built more than $70 million
worth of commercial, residential and industrial ratables in Ocean county alone, and we have the experience that is
required to construct your new custom home or commercial project. If you have not selected your home or commercial
building design, we can provide more than 10,000 floor plans from which to choose, or we can design your custom home
or commercial project for you using our in house design software. We are able to generate preliminary 3D floor plans
and site plans to scale which we use to provide a final cost analysis of any project to our clients prior to having
to spend large sums of money for architectural and engineering plans. Once the client approves the design and cost
estimate of the home or commercial project, we then select an architect and engineer to generate the formal building
and site plans. This process allows us to control costs for our clients. As always, time is of the essence, and our
reputation regarding timeliness for both commercial and residential projects precedes us. Waterfront development is
often heavily regulated by the applicable state and federal agencies, and it is important that a firm be versed in
the intricacies that can potentially slow a permit for construction down considerably. We can typically attain
advanced coastal permit packages in under 3 months.

We attribute the success of our company over the years to being intimately involved with each of
our projects from
the design phase through client occupation. Job construction is
supervised 7 days a week, and we maintain 24 hour
recorded video surveillance on each of our projects. This feature offers our clients peace of mind in
knowing that the job is being closely monitored, as well as enjoying the benefit of being able to watch the project
progress remotely from any location which has internet access. Being technically oriented, each staff member is
equipped with a mobile PDA containing all client information pertinent to any project's selections and contract
specifications. This enables us to have even the most detailed discussion with a client at a moments notice,
whether we are at the project site or on the side of a highway. Each of our projects are tracked and scheduled
using Microsoft Project, a program which has allowed us to streamline our construction process and meet guaranteed
closing dates. Our
